✨ Super soft, rich with banana flavor, and filled with melty chocolate
📝 It’s been such a cozy baking week here, and I couldn’t resist pulling out a recipe I’ve made at least five times this month — this Banana Bread with Chocolate Chips.
It’s the ultimate comfort bake: gooey, chocolate-studded, and rich with banana flavor. Perfect for mornings with coffee or just as a late-night slice (because let’s be honest, we all do it 😅).
Lately, so many of you have asked for an easy, foolproof banana bread — especially one with chocolate in every bite. So here it is, my favorite version: super soft, packed with flavor, and smells like a cozy bakery. Let’s bake it! ✨

Mash 3 large ripe bananas in a glass mixing bowl using a fork. Keep it a little chunky.
Add melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla. Use a balloon whisk to combine until creamy.
Sift in flour, baking soda, and a pinch of salt. Use a silicone spatula to mix gently.
Gently fold in semi-sweet chocolate chips. The batter should be thick and scoopable.
Line a nonstick loaf pan with parchment. Pour in batter. Add chopped walnuts and extra chips on top.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Let it cool before slicing.
❄️ Freeze slices in parchment and zip bags for 2 months
🍯 Swap brown sugar with coconut sugar for a richer depth
🍫 Add white chocolate or dark chocolate chunks
🌰 Top with crushed walnuts or pecans
This Banana Bread with Chocolate Chips is one of my absolute favorites! It’s soft, moist, and full of rich banana flavor, with gooey chocolate in every bite. I love how simple it is to make — just one bowl and no mixer required. Whether it’s for a cozy breakfast, an afternoon snack, or a sweet dessert, this recipe always feels like pure homemade comfort.
